In a good overview of racism in Canada, have a look at this HuffPost article (here). The author, Maija Kappler writes, “I’m a white person who has done inadvertently racist things. I didn’t grow up in a world that forced me to be hyper-aware of how my skin colour or my ethnic background would affect the way people saw me. So, I had blind spots. I’m sure I still do.”
