In an article from the Chronicle of Higher Education (available here) Rob Jenkins (former student, teacher and administrator) offers some insights to what he believes makes good teachers. While his observations are based on personal experiences, I tend to agree with them. The most compelling point in the article is to know that even if you never become as “good” as your favorite teachers, you should keep trying. Student appreciate effort, honesty and commitment.
